Part 3/11:
To achieve this, Pixar’s animators went to extraordinary lengths. They physically immersed themselves in water experiments, analyzing how liquids interact with the human body—how water clings, drips, or flows around a figure–map out precisely how Linguini’s hair, with its 115,000 individual strands, responds to moisture. They even learned to cook real ingredients to understand their textures better before animating the food, elevating the film’s realism. This meticulous attention to detail ensures that every element—down to the way water interacts with the body or the micro-movements of hair—creates an immersive, believable world.
