A standout resume begins with a powerful summary — the "positioning statement" — which encapsulates your experience, core strengths, and why you’re the right fit. The coach advised making this section concise, ideally three sentences:

Your background and expertise
What you bring to the role (key skills or accomplishments relevant to the position)
