The Hazards of Overcharging
The demonstration underscores the potential dangers associated with overcharging. When a battery is overcharged, it heats up considerably. During a controlled experiment, a temperature rise of about 10°C was observed, which is significantly higher than the usual increase of around 3°C seen with properly managed charging using a reliable power source.
