Arizona Diamondbacks

The Diamondbacks made an important move, re-signing Mel Kelly to a two-year, $40 million contract. Kelly, 37, has been a durable and dependable pitcher, and although he had a better three-year offer from a West Coast team (over $50 million), he preferred to return to Arizona, where he’s spent his entire major league career.
