Several learned new instruments, such as the piano, or picked up foreign languages like Danish to broaden their horizons.

Parents and caregivers shared the challenges of managing home life while working from home, especially with young children. Some used this time for home improvement projects—redecorating, soundproofing, or engaging in arts and crafts with their kids—finding a silver lining in the enforced confinement.
