Singapore is actively participating in vaccine development. Human trials for a vaccine known as Lunar COV19 are underway at Duke-NUS Medical School. This process involved volunteers undergoing comprehensive health screening and informed consent. The trials are currently in Phase 1 and 2, exploring dosage safety and immune response, with completion expected by end of October.
