Part 11/15:
This approach dissolves the illusion of a war between the “pure” spirit and the “impure” body. Instead, it recognizes that all aspects of human experience—desire, pleasure, discomfort—are integral to the dance of life.
The Sacredness of the Temporary
Impermanence breathes beauty into existence. Bodies age, passions shift, moments fade—yet therein lies their value. The fleeting nature of sensations and appearances renders them precious.
Think of cherry blossoms, which bloom vibrantly for a brief spell. Their transience heightens their beauty. When you accept that your physical form is transient, you learn to cherish each moment rather than cling to it. Presence arises naturally when desire and impermanence are embraced, not resisted.
