Predatory birds like the fish eagle and territorial kingfishers patrol the sky, maintaining the balance of predator and prey.

The Rainforest’s Resilient and Evolving Ecosystem

Despite natural challenges, the ecosystem persists. Juvenile red-legged crested kingfishers come into their plumage, learning vital lessons about territory and survival. Nightfall brings a new set of dramas—cinnamon bushfrog eggs develop amidst protective layers, awaiting hatching. Thanks to conservation efforts, some of these species are slowly rebuilding their populations.
