Filmmakers must plant microphones discreetly, such as inside small bags worn by the children, making sure they remain unnoticed so the kids aren’t distracted or curious. The crew’s concern is that the children won’t open or tug on these devices, which could compromise safety or interfere with the natural reactions the show aims to capture.
