The scans reveal key features such as the 9.2-inch gun emplacement and underground ammunition storage, including an elevator shaft once used for moving shells into position. These detailed virtual reconstructions shed light on the fort’s strategic design, illustrating how the British supplied munitions from below ground, connecting the ammunition chambers to the gun placement via the elevator shaft.
