Part 2/13:
Sin Ern teams up with war historian John to investigate Fort Corn, a long-abandoned military installation that played a crucial role during World War II. Due to decades of neglect, the fort's boundaries are blurred, prompting the use of advanced technology—a 3D laser scan—to map its terrain.
The scans reveal key features such as the 9.2-inch gun emplacement and underground ammunition storage, including an elevator shaft once used for moving shells into position. These detailed virtual reconstructions shed light on the fort’s strategic design, illustrating how the British supplied munitions from below ground, connecting the ammunition chambers to the gun placement via the elevator shaft.
