Rinsler was working on a comprehensive book about the making of The Force Awakens, titled The Rise and Fall of Star Wars. Unfortunately, the project was abruptly canceled. He attributes this to Disney and Kathleen Kennedy's desire to erase certain aspects of Star Wars history that might cast the franchise in a less favorable light.
