For the second straight quarter, Disney Plus reported a loss of approximately 4 million subscribers worldwide. While some of this decline can be attributed to external factors, such as Disney losing a contract to broadcast cricket leagues in India—which led to a notable drop in Indian subscriptions—the decline domestically within the United States and Canada is particularly concerning. Here, Disney lost over 300,000 subscribers during the January-March period, coinciding with the launch of the highly anticipated third season of The Mandalorian.
