The show also heavily emphasizes identity politics, showcasing marginalized characters and their lived experiences through heavy-handed dialogue. For instance, episodes feature scenes of women of color violently fighting or being portrayed in stereotypical settings like fast-food restaurants. These moments, intended to be diverse and representative, come off as pandering and often clunky.
