Part 5/12:
Dialogue and exposition are especially problematic. The series is riddled with "member berries," nostalgic references that feel awkward and contrived. For example, conversations are filled with heavy-handed callbacks and expository dumps that serve only to spoon-feed viewers information—reducing character interactions to awkward, disjointed snippets. The dialogue often veers into cringe-worthy territory, with references to supercomputers, crew routines, and corporate structures presented in a way that feels more like clunky exposition than organic storytelling.
