Part 8/12:

The plot culminates in a battle against Queenly villains and a final confrontation where Sonja’s childhood nemesis, the barbarian king—and her presumed primary antagonist—dies off-screen. The resolution reveals that the villainous emperor, Dragon, is actually her childhood friend, separated from her during the attack on her village. Despite the revelation, the ending is anticlimactic: Dragon dies after a convoluted fight, and Sonja ends the film wandering as a lapsed hero, drinking and cavorting with barbarians until summoned back into action.
