Part 9/14:

While Haley Steinfeld’s portrayal of Kate was charming, the storytelling was repetitive, with many scenes consisting mainly of sitting, talking, and waiting. The final battles, especially the attack at Eleanor Bishop’s Christmas party, were embarrassingly staged with awkward CGI, bizarre costumes, and contrived dialogue. The return of Kingpin from the Netflix Daredevil series was handled poorly, stripping away his menace and turning him into a mere plot device.

Black Widow and She-Hulk

The Black Widow film, which tried to tackle themes of female liberation and trauma, was muddled and inconsistent. Natasha’s past was reduced to a superficial girl-power flick that sidestepped deeper issues, delivering a treatment more focused on political correctness than compelling storytelling.
