Trailers hinted at chaos and multiversal intrigue involving multiple Lokis, but the series largely devolved into controlled dialogues and superficial conflicts, with most of the supposed “variants” being forgettable or secondary. The appearance of Kang was underwhelming; the actor’s performance lacked menace, and the entire multiverse setup felt more like laziness or corporate expedience than a meaningful exploration of character or plot.
