Part 5/10:
Villains like Muse and Bullseye were either poorly adapted or misused. Muse, a character known for his inhuman abilities and dark lore in the comics, was reduced to an ineffective inhuman villain with no menace, while Bullseye was turned into a cowardly informant, far from the terrifying assassin he once was.
The Punisher, portrayed by John Bernthal, was a highlight in a handful of scenes, but these moments were cherry-picked from previous seasons rather than developed anew, making them feel out of place and unearned.
Overall, the season's plot was a fragmented series of events that lacked cohesion, relying heavily on familiar Marvel tropes—annoying women lecturing the hero, political allegories, and superficial action sequences—rather than crafting a compelling narrative.
