Part 4/10:
Daredevil / Matt Murdock appeared indecisive and whiny, with frequent episodes of self-pity and quitting. Despite the promise of a hero's return, he was portrayed more as a victim than as the confident, relentless vigilante fans loved.
Wilson Fisk / Kingpin was reduced to a Trump-esque figure, haphazardly promoted as a populist mayor candidate, making him less a complex villain and more a political caricature. His character’s depth from Netflix was sacrificed, replaced by a superficial, insipid portrayal.
Vanessa Fisk, once a powerfully nuanced character and true partner to Wilson, was now cast merely as a "girl boss" running his empire. Her role was diminished to that of a streamer of pithy one-liners, stripping her of the formidable presence that made her compelling.
