This fan's edit closely resembled the iconic Broadway poster but made slight adjustments—the repositioning of Ariana Grande's hand, a different hat brim, and red lips—aimed at honoring the original artwork. To many, it was a harmless tribute. However, Cynthia Ará took to Instagram to express outrage, claiming the fan's edit was offensive because it attempted to erase her identity, asserting that it was an assault on her as a Black and queer woman.
