Adding to Disney's woes are ongoing lawsuits that threaten to further drain the company's resources and reputation. Most recently, another legal battle emerged from behind the scenes of Willow—this time involving a British actor, Ralph Inonessen, who is suing Disney over injuries sustained during filming.

Inonessen claims he suffered permanent shoulder damage after falling awkwardly during a night shoot in the UK while dressed as a knight engaged in battle with a CGI-created ogre named The Scourge. According to his lawsuit filed in a London High Court, he was injured when he fell on a set in South Wales, with inadequate safety measures cited as a contributing factor.
