The Marvels is pegged to have lost approximately $237 million, according to Deadline. The film grossed only about $26 million globally on opening weekend, with around $88 million ultimately coming back to Disney.

The production budget was estimated at $270 million (by Forbes), with additional costs such as marketing and prints and ads bringing the total closer to $400 million in what insiders consider the "all-in" cost.
