Studio consolidations persist—Warner Brothers, MGM, Fox—many of which are being sold or absorbed by larger corporations. These mergers threaten to further reduce the diversity of voices and ideas, creating a monolithic entertainment landscape dominated by corporate interests. The recent sale of Warner Brothers, for example, could have catastrophic consequences for Hollywood if it leads to a further concentration of control.
