Dominic Smith’s 2025 season was unexpectedly impressive, especially considering he wasn’t on the roster at the start of the year. Initially a midseason addition, Smith quickly became one of the most reliable hitters for the Giants. Over a modest 225 plate appearances, he posted a .284/.333/.417 line, with five homers and 33 RBIs, and maintained a 111 WRC+—well above league average.
