Nashville is rapidly advancing as a contender, particularly with its new Nissan Stadium under construction to replace the outdated outdoor facility. The enclosed stadium with a translucent roof would make Nashville much more attractive as a Super Bowl host. Similarly, Jacksonville is retrofitting its existing stadium with a roof, aiming to secure an inner-city, climate-controlled environment that could put the city back on the map for future Super Bowls.
