In 1988, Walker moved to Los Angeles with his bandmates, brimming with ambition. However, the transition was daunting. Without the internet or social media, they had to hustle to find practice spaces and gigs. Walker recalls using classified ads and going through various struggles to establish themselves in a music scene already flooded with talent.
