Part 8/10:
However, Alzado's negotiations with the Broncos did not go as planned, leading to his trade to the Cleveland Browns. Though he performed well in Cleveland, the team struggled overall.
The Raiders and Legacy
In 1982, Alzado found himself with the Oakland Raiders, a franchise notorious for its aggressive style. It was here that Alzado truly thrived and achieved the pinnacle of his career when the Raiders won Super Bowl XVIII in 1983. His emotional reaction during the victory highlighted not only the importance of this win to him personally but also the culmination of a career marked by resilience and determination.
Sadly, his career was cut short by a severe Achilles tendon injury in 1985, and Alzado's attempts to reinvent himself in Hollywood did not yield the success he sought.
