While existential risks exist, assuming the worst does not come to pass, we must consider the socioeconomic landscape this technology will create. Currently, many hold varying perspectives on AGI, from visions of impending doom to utopian dreams of eternal life. Regardless of the outlook, the introduction of AGI is bound to initiate widespread change, the effects of which will be felt both macro and micro-scale.
