Part 2/8:
Both the Bears and Seahawks entered this game with high-profile trades in recent seasons that were believed to have bolstered their rosters. However, instead of making successful use of these “spoils,” both teams have appeared to be floundering. Seattle, which was expected to contend for a playoff spot, couldn’t even muster a proper offensive performance against a struggling Bears team that has now succumbed to a two-year span riddled with disappointments. The discrepancy between expectations and reality evokes the agony reminiscent of the infamous 12-9 battle between Russell Wilson’s Broncos and Matt Ryan’s Colts last season.
