Despite being down, the Bears did not back down. They began piling on progress with each drive, and although their attempts were inconsistent, flashes of brilliance emerged. Moore and Allen continued to rally the Bears, showing their capability of scoring back-to-back touchdowns on subsequent drives, an effort that kept the Bears' hopes alive.

In the second half, the Lions showcased their offensive dominance with Gibbs finding success on multiple drives. Despite some momentary hiccups including a third down failure, Goff quickly rebounded, converting key plays to push the Lions toward the red zone.
