Part 3/7:
Assessment of the Prospects Going to Chicago
In return for Crochet, the White Sox have added some promising young talent. The highlight of the package is Kyle Teal, a former first-round pick and regarded as the fourth-best prospect in Boston’s system. Teal’s proficiency as a catcher, combined with signs of offensive prowess, makes him an appealing addition to Chicago’s rebuilding efforts.
Other prospects, including Braden Montgomery and Chase Meidroth, add depth to the White Sox’s farm system, which is designed to help them become competitive again in the American League.
