Belichick's Motivation

What might motivate someone with Belichick's pedigree to transition from the NFL to college football? The answer appears to lie in control. In college sports, head coaches often enjoy more autonomy than they do in the NFL, where they must answer to team owners and general managers. A successful tenure at UNC would allow Belichick to build a program in his image and implement NFL-level operational structures without interference.
