The journey begins at a pivotal location in the film—the spot where John Rambo is apprehended by Sheriff Will Teasel. The scene unfolds as Rambo, looking disheveled after returning from Vietnam, is picked up while wandering through town. The sheriff, troubled by Rambo's appearance, decides to take him across town to rid the area of what he perceives as a vagrant. This is a crucial moment that ignites the ensuing conflict, but it’s also notable that the location has changed since the film was shot. The once distinguishable bridge that played a critical role in the movie was replaced in 2011 with a more modern structure, losing some of its charm.
