Born on October 25, 1998, in the Dominican Republic, Juan José Soto Pacheco developed a passion for baseball early on, fueled by his admiration for Dominican stars such as Manny Ramirez and Robinson Canó. Raised in a challenging neighborhood, his father, a former catcher in a local league, played a pivotal role in nurturing Soto's passion. Desiring his son to pursue baseball earnestly, Soto’s father would practice with him using bottle caps indoors, given his mother’s restrictions on outdoor play.
