In response to the growing tension and curiosity, New York Governor Kathy Hochul has announced that the federal government is deploying high-tech drone detection resources to assist in the investigation. Meanwhile, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has also reached out to the White House, asking for additional federal resources to aid in understanding these aerial anomalies.

Adding to the intrigue, former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan shared his own drone sighting but was met with skepticism from astronomy experts who clarified that much of what he filmed was merely the night sky, particularly the constellation Orion.
