Part 3/9:
One of the most frustrating aspects for fans of Tolkien’s work is the absence of Elrond's twins in the film adaptations. While both "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" series feature numerous characters, including Aragorn, Gandalf, and Frodo, characters like Glorfindel and Tom Bombadil, as well as Eladan and Elrohir, are largely omitted due to their intricate backgrounds and the limited screen time that can be afforded.
Given the expansive narrative and multiple intertwined arcs, a television series would have allowed for deeper exploration of characters like the twins and provided an opportunity to flesh out their significant contributions and emotionally resonant experiences.
