Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius and place the mold inside for about 15 to 20 minutes until it turns lightly golden. A toothpick test in the center will confirm if it’s baked – it should come out dry.
3. Making the Guava Filling
While the dough bakes, prepare the guava filling. In a pan, combine cubed guava paste with water over low heat. Stir occasionally until the guava paste dissolves and achieves a smooth consistency. Once it cools, the filling will thicken up, making it easier to spread on the roll.
