The Vikings entered the game trailing 3-0 in the second quarter but quickly turned the tide with excellent offensive play design. One highlight was a touch pass from Sam Darnold to Jaylen Naylor, putting the Vikings on the scoreboard and eventually taking a 13-3 lead with two field goals.

Despite their comfortable lead, Darnold made a puzzling decision that cost the Vikings a crucial possession. A forced pass resulted in a turnover that breathed life back into the Packers. Josh Jacobs capitalized on the short field, narrowing the score to 20-10. However, Darnold rebounded strongly, methodically leading the Vikings back downfield, culminating in a touchdown pass to add to their arsenal of points, bringing the score to 27-10.
