Part 3/4:
Prepare a baking pan (20cm x 8cm) by greasing it with butter and sprinkling some flour on it.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 50 minutes. To check for doneness, insert a toothpick in the center; it should come out clean when the cake is done.
Once baked, allow it to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before carefully removing it.
Adding the Delicious Topping
While the cake cools, prepare a rich chocolate topping:
200g of semi-sweet chocolate
1.5 cartons of cream
Melt the chocolate, either using a double boiler (banho-maria) or in the microwave. If using the microwave, heat in 30-second intervals until fully melted.
Once melted, pour the chocolate over the cooled cake, allowing it to beautifully coat the top.
