The late Stan Lee, a legendary figure in comic book history, had a special love for the characters he created. While he famously made cameo appearances in many Marvel films, he initially dreamed of playing a more significant role. In a 2009 interview, Lee expressed his desire to portray Odin, the father of Thor and Loki. Despite this ambitious dream, the production opted for the seasoned Anthony Hopkins for the role. Lee’s disappointment was palpable, as he often wanted to be more than just a quick cameo; he saw himself as a god among his creations.
