Gibbs-White's journey has been shaped by the players he looked up to growing up, such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, and he strives to emulate their freedom and expression on the pitch. "I like the idea of players just expressing themselves and playing with sheer freedom, and I try and bring that freedom into my game as well."

As Gibbs-White continues to impress in the Premier League, the talk of a potential England call-up has started to grow. While he acknowledges the fierce competition for a spot, he remains determined to knock on the door and represent his country. "It's a goal of mine, it's an ambition of mine. I hopefully I'm knocking at the door and I'm not too far away on that."
