With the game tied 6-6 in the ninth, the Dodgers turned to veteran reliever Walker Buehler, who had not pitched in a game since June 2018. Buehler was unfazed by the moment, retiring the side in order to seal the championship for Los Angeles.

"The Dodgers are turning to Walker Buehler out of the bullpen for the first time since the end of June in 2018," the announcer noted. "Breaking pitch, grounded to third, one gone in the ninth. The Dodgers are one out away from a championship."

And that's exactly what happened, as Buehler got the final out, sparking a wild celebration on the Dodgers' side of the field. After falling behind early, they had completed an improbable comeback to capture their first World Series title since 1988.
