As they venture deeper into this new reality, Arisu and his friends encounter a mixed group of individuals and a game system that dictates their fates. They learn they must survive a series of deadly games to earn their lives. The first game, “Dead or Alive,” forces them to make harrowing choices as they navigate through a set of doors, testing their wits and luck. After a tense start, they clear the game but are confronted with the reality of their mortality—a fellow player is killed, and the group is warned that they must continue playing or face lethal consequences.
