In a twist, Dodie ventures to the barn and attempts to touch the dome herself, only to find herself electrocuted and rendered unconscious. When she regains consciousness, she has lost all memory of the incident, believing instead that her fall was due to a malfunctioning generator. Angie and the others choose to keep her in the dark about the dome to protect its secrets.

While seeking further insight into the dome's connection to people with seizures, Angie recalls that Junior had previously experienced a seizure in high school, leading her to suspect he might be another chosen one.
