Part 2/9:

The episodes begin with Michelle, who wrestles with a significant moral decision. Among the chaos of the welcome party for the newly minted three percent—those who have successfully passed their tests—Michelle pulls out a capsule containing poison she had hidden within her body. This capsule, given to her by the leader of the Cause, serves a bleak purpose: if captured, she would use it to protect the secrets of her organization. Her internal conflict is evident as she prepares to poison Ezekiel, the leader who orchestrated their trials, but inadvertently ends up killing an innocent agent, Caesar, when their drinks are mistakenly switched.
