After a family dinner at his sister’s house, he reflects on the delicate theme of family expansion with his wife, Julia. While Julia is eager to have children, Manel hesitates, not ready for such a commitment yet. Their conversation is abruptly interrupted by a shocking near-accident, an omen of the tragic events that loom ahead. In a matter of moments, a speeding truck crashes into them, taking away Julia's life and leaving Manel to grieve in solitude.
