The plot thickens as Mike's mother, Tara, a curious journalist, uncovers the secret identities of Mike and Lucy, unaware of their superhero undertakings. However, Tara inadvertently assists in raising public awareness of the superheroes’ plight through a well-received interview, igniting hope and support among the citizens.
As hordes of criminals seize comics for power, Mike, Lucy, and Nick search for their missing superhero uncle. The revelation of the old donut store, once owned by Scott, hints at a buried connection to the missing Dizzy Seven, a heroic team that must be reassembled to combat the overwhelming evil threatening the city.
