Meanwhile, we are introduced to Cow and his cousin, Jenna, who are eager to advance their musical careers. After performing at a gig, they celebrate at a bar, but events take a drastic turn when police arrive for a surprise inspection due to allegations of substance possession. Cow, caught up in a misunderstanding, finds himself arrested alongside his friends, leading to public ridicule as his record label owner attempts to deflect blame.

Following the arrest, Cow's life becomes increasingly complicated as he reflects on his grandfather’s recent passing and the weight of unfinished family ties. His journey back home sets forth a series of revelations that propel him further into the unfolding chaos involving the monstrous lizard.
