Part 5/7:
In a desperate bid for rescue, a police officer arrives on the scene, dismissing the teens’ warnings about the lurking terror. As he checks on Jonah, he is ambushed by the monster, solidifying the group’s fears that they are dealing with something far beyond their understanding.
When Mitch ultimately falls victim to the sand, the group is reduced further, leaving Kaye, Chanda, and the gravely injured Jonah as the last three standing. They devise one more escape strategy, but as they attempt to rescue Jonah, the monster strikes again, resulting in the loss of more lives.
