Later, Vance and Gilbert venture out to find wood for their fire, returning with a disturbing, giant object. Despite their fear, the party continues undeterred. The following morning, as the festivities come to an end, Kaylee and Mitch decide to leave. Just as they're about to exit their lifeguard tower, a shocking sight halts them: a small bird gets ensnared in the sand and is quickly devoured.

The Unseen Enemy Revealed

Meanwhile, the rest of the group awakens, with Chanda discovering her friend Mara unconscious. In a tragic turn, Mara attempts to leave her table and immediately becomes trapped in the sand, failing to comprehend the danger until it is too late. As her screams fade, Vance tries to save her but ends up caught himself, met with a gruesome demise.
